Alex Leatherland
Atomic Weapons Establishment
Alex Leatherland is a senior applied scientist at AWE. With an academic background in space radiation and plasma environments at the University of Wales Aberystwyth, he has been working at AWE for just over ten years. His work at AWE encompasses radiation transport modelling in Geant4, plasma physics experiments, and diagnostic development. More recently focusing on research and development of reconstruction algorithms and imaging quality indicators for multi modal imaging, as part of the High Energy Digital Radiography project for Non-Destructive Assessment.
