Speaker Bio

Tom Crane is an applied physicist within the Nuclear Threat Reduction programme at AWE. He delivers a portfolio of research projects on behalf of UK Government customers focusing on the detection of radiological and nuclear materials and penetrating imaging techniques. He is the technical lead for AWE’s portable low and mid technology readiness level imaging programmes and provides specialist scientific support to external partners.
